Plus more to come…

Host of Feb 8th’s Alter Comedy Club is the “hilarious” “incredible” and “mesmerising” Harriet Dyer!

Harriet is a Cornish comedian, writer and mental health advocate known for her quirky, original and offbeat brand of comedy, and you might recognise her from The Russell Howard Hour and Meet The Richardsons, which she has also written for.

She’s written for both seasons of Jon Richardson’s Channel Hopping, and founded the multi award-winning mental health comedy show, ‘Barking Tales’. Her latest solo stand-up show ‘Trigger Warning’ won the Neurodiverse Representation Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

In 2020 she published her debut book, ‘Bipolar Comedian’ and her stand-up for Comedy Central Live airs later this year.

Come and see her in action at The Alter Comedy Club on Feb 8th!

Morgan Rees is a rising star of the UK circuit. This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. He has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.
Tour Support for Fern Brady, Rhys James, Jayde Adams, Nigel Ng and Paul Chowdhry.

‘Proved himself a master of redirection, with several set-ups taking unexpected swerves in a punchline heavy set ‘ Chortle
‘Clearly be going places’Bruce Dessau
‘Excellent’ The Scotsman
‘Fast gags, unexpected swerves and rolling stories’The Sunday Times

Josh Reynolds used stand up as a coming out device on both they’re sexuality and gender. It’d have been easier to just post on TikTok… but since then they have been shortlisted for LGBTQ+ new comedian of the year 2022, runner up of best new act – Midlands comedy award amongst others.

The event is finished.
