Sarah Gillespie

Anglo-American singer songwriter Sarah Gillespie is renowned for mixing elements of jazz, folk & blues with her streetwise poetic lyrics. Having released 4 critically acclaimed albums in the last 10 years, she’s toured extensively, headlining leading venues and festivals in Europe and the USA. She’s twice played live on BBC ‘Woman’s Hour’ and was interviewed by Andrew Marr on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Start the Week’ on the role of politics in song. (She has a Master’s Degree in Politics & Philosophy).

Gillespie’s most recent album ‘Wishbones’ received 5-star reviews & Album of the Year from the Arts Desk and she is recording her new album in Berlin for release in 2023.
