Ripple Music Group’s 2nd Birthday Show

Ripple Music Group is all about creating stages for live music and songwriting right here in Lichfield.

They believe in original music so much that everything they do feeds back into contributing towards a sustainable original music scene in Lichfield. This includes their function side, aimed at supporting their artists financially through more gigs, and their commission goes straight back into investing into the original music scene – with showcases like this one!

With the Monday drive time show on Lichfield Radio totally dedicated to Lichfield’s original music scene, they do everything they can to boost visibility of the wealth of musical talent Lichfield is lucky to have. Last year for their 1st birthday festival at The Garrick, they committed to supporting the next generation of young artists through Lichfield Arts, and are proud to say that pipeline is in development to help bridge the gap between open mics and paid work for young artists. This year is no different – they’ve held the opening slot for a fantastic young artist Amália Estradas.

So now you know who they are, why are they celebrating? Well, after 2 years of putting on absolutely loads of gigs and mini festivals in Lichfield and across the Midlands, they thought it’s only right to have a big party! What can you expect on the day? Live music from Amália Estradas, Minisinim, Paper Bird, Thomas Atlas and Kitten Pyramid. This lineup features such a range of styles and excellent musicianship, there’s something for everyone!

Ripple will also be doing a live album recording on the night, so this isn’t just another gig- it’s your chance to be part of something special and experience the energy of a live album being captured in the moment.

Doors open 7pm. Music from 7.30pm. Finish time approx 11pm.
