Riding The Low

A night of unrivalled energy with an exclusive performance of unreleased materials from their new album!

Riding The Low promise an unforgettable night of live music with dynamic material spanning their albums so far – as well as an exclusive feature from their unreleased album ‘The Death of Gobshite Rambo’.

The band was formed in 2006 by Paddy Considine after he had a revelation watching indie rockers Guided By Voices! Naming the group after a quote from a Lee Marvin biography, Considine recruited the other band members including Richard Eaton on bass, whom he had played in bands with since their teenage years. With the additions of Chris Baldwin and Dan Baker, Riding The Low was born.

The group’s music combines their love of punchy pop anthems with psych rock songs, alongside more sprawling and ambitious cuts exploring themes of disillusionment with working class life and the pointlessness of buying into the idea of ‘the system’. Riding the Low sonically and lyrically delve into themes of triumph and loss, expanding their repertoire by introducing beautiful arrangements and punchy brass.
