Pistol Pete Wearn is a solo acoustic blues artist who performs raucous and upbeat material accompanied by fingerpicked guitar and a stomping foot. His music has been played on BBC 6 Music, described as “as true as it gets” by Blues Blast magazine & twice-awarded ‘Solo Blues Artist of The Year’ by Moonshine Magazine.
During 2023 he is touring with longstanding collaborator, fiddle player Olly Parry, and performing new original material, drawing on the pre-war blues style with some deep-fried country, vaudeville and hot jazz influences thrown in for good measure.
