Day of Dance: Indian Fusion Dance & Craft Workshop
Join Nrithyam School of Dance for an energetic and inclusive session that blends Indian dance styles, bringing together Bollywood inspired movements with folk movements from both North and South India. This workshop is designed for participants of all ages and abilities, focusing on simple, fun and expressive movements, making it easy for everyone to join in, enjoy and celebrate the joy of dance together.
Prior to the dance session, children attending the craft workshop (at 2pm) will also have the opportunity to explore craft activities inspired by Indian traditional craftsmanship and cultural motifs, including decorating dandiya sticks. Aimed at children aged 4-10yrs.
Expect a lively, colourful and joyful experience that brings people together through rhythm, creativity and cultural expression.
No prior experience required, just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
