Christie Reeves
Christie Reeves is known for her impressively dynamic voice that envelops the listener with crystal-clear highs and soulful depth.
Reeves’ song writing explores ‘using the natural world as a mirror to reflect on the nature of ourselves’ and has a sound that is influenced by many folk artists and groups including Martin Carthy and Fleetfoxes, emphasised by her acoustic guitar picking and harp-like tenor ukulele.
With UK festival appearances, international collaborations, and BBC airplay, she is gaining recognition ahead of her debut album The Sun & Shadows.
Most recently at The Hub, Reeves was one of the chosen finalists to work with Guy Chambers, who publicly praised her as having ‘the voice of an angel‘ and ‘very poetic songwriting‘.
