Cool. Melancholic. Timeless. The Toby Brazier Quartet bring their acclaimed musicianship to bear on the music of one of jazz’s most iconic voices. An intimate evening of trumpet-led cool jazz, celebrating the singular genius of Chet Baker.
The Toby Brazier Quartet hails from Leeds, and is made up of four of the city’s finest musicians: Toby Brazier (trumpet), Will Powell (guitar), Jose Canha (bass) and John Arnesen (drums). Together, these wonderful musicians have mastered their craft, and promise a hugely enjoyable celebration of this music legend.
This special night will feature heartfelt renditions of some of Baker’s most beloved tunes, including the timeless “My Funny Valentine”, “Let’s Get Lost” and “I Fall in Love Too Easily”.
