The same brilliant local jazz musicians you’ve seen at The Hub before, but this time playing all their own tunes!
For April’s Sunday Jazz Gig, Trumpeter & Guitarist Nick Dewhurst will be leading his trio through a new theme for the Hub at St Mary’s. This time, ‘Local Home Grown Jazz’!
It sounds like something you might get off the market square, which is very appropriate given we’re right next to it, as tonight Nick, joined by Tim Amann on Piano and Paul Robinson on Fretless Bass Guitar, will be
featuring their own compositions. Nick’s tunes include Lichfield based tunes such as Bird Street Blues, and Tim’s include a reference to a Moseley Curry House in ‘K2 Blues’! All accessible, all foot tapping, and very melodic – this will be an evening of great music!
